(7:68) ¹  435 camels, and 6,720 donkeys.

For man did not come from woman, but woman from man.

Neither was man created for the sake of woman, but woman for man.

(Now there were about twelve men in all.) ¹ 

Now ¹  there was a man named Joseph who was a member of the council, ²  a good and righteous man.

A husband should give to his wife her sexual rights, ¹  and likewise a wife to her husband.

In any case, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.

So then, ¹  if she is joined to another man while her husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress. But if her ²  husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she is joined to another man, she is not an adulteress.

For a married woman is bound by law to her husband as long as he lives, but if her ¹  husband dies, she is released from the law of the marriage. ² 

Not counting women and children, there were about five thousand men who ate.

Now ¹  there were five thousand men ²  who ate the bread. ³ 

Then ¹  two men, Moses and Elijah, ²  began talking with him. ³ 

saying, “You went to ¹  uncircumcised men and shared a meal with ²  them.”

blessed is the one ¹  against whom the Lord will never count ²  sin.” ³ 

¹ Wives, submit ²  to your husbands as to the Lord,

Wives, submit to your ¹  husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them.

For human ¹  anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness. ²
