“I will heal their waywardness ¹  and love them freely, ²  for my anger will turn ³  away from them.

You are bound for judgment ¹  because you are robbing me – this whole nation is guilty. ² 

A man named Barabbas was imprisoned with rebels who had committed murder during an insurrection.

We found ¹  a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, ²  went aboard, ³  and put out to sea. ⁴ 

What then should we do? They will no doubt ¹  hear that you have come.

I am a debtor ¹  both to the Greeks and to the barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.

In him ¹  the whole building, ²  being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

I will set ¹  your boundaries from the Red Sea to the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the River, ²  for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you will drive them out before you.

But now we have been released from the law, because we have died ¹  to what controlled us, so that we may serve in the new life of the Spirit and not under the old written code. ² 

We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, ¹  and rightly so, ²  because your faith flourishes more and more and the love of each one of you all for one another is ever greater.

But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters ¹  loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning ²  for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

One of you must go and get ¹  your brother, while ²  the rest of you remain in prison. ³  In this way your words may be tested to see if ⁴  you are telling the truth. ⁵  If not, then, as surely as Pharaoh lives, you are spies!”

Joseph’s master took him and threw him into the prison, ¹  the place where the king’s prisoners were confined. So he was there in the prison. ² 

He jammed ¹  the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving, ²  and the Egyptians said, “Let’s flee ³  from Israel, for the Lord fights ⁴  for them against Egypt!”

They are to tie the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod by blue cord, so that it may be above the waistband of the ephod, and so that the breastpiece will not be loose from the ephod.

“‘No lay person ¹  may eat anything holy. Neither a priest’s lodger ²  nor a hired laborer may eat anything holy,

You may have the Sabbath produce ¹  of the land to eat – you, your male servant, your female servant, your hired worker, the resident foreigner who stays with you, ² 

He must be with you as a hired worker, as a resident foreigner; ¹  he must serve with you until the year of jubilee,
