These were the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those numbered of them were 45,400. ¹ 

These were those numbered of the Israelites, 601,730. ¹ 

The land must be divided by lot; and they will inherit in accordance with the names of their ancestral tribes.

Their inheritance must be apportioned ¹  by lot among the larger and smaller groups.

These who are named above were the leaders of their clans. Their extended families increased greatly in numbers.

Their relatives, listed according to their families, ¹  included Michael, Meshullam, Sheba, Jorai, Jacan, Zia, and Eber – seven in all.

The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, ¹  Guni, Jezer, and Shallum ²  – sons of Bilhah.

The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the Levites, listed by their families.

These are the priests and Levites who returned ¹  with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

How many are my ¹  iniquities and sins? Show me my transgression and my sin. ² 

For you write down ¹  bitter things against me and cause me to inherit the sins of my youth. ²
