“No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a hidden place ¹  or under a basket, ²  but on a lampstand, so that those who come in can see the light.

For the hidden power of lawlessness ¹  is already at work. However, the one who holds him back ²  will do so until he is taken out of the way,

“This commandment I am giving ¹  you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it too remote.

“But these things ¹  you have concealed in your heart; I know that this ²  is with you: ³ 

Why do you hide your face ¹  and regard me as your enemy?

Because ¹  you have closed their ²  minds to understanding, therefore you will not exalt them. ³ 

His flesh wastes away from sight, and his bones, which were not seen, are easily visible. ¹ 

Yes, your servant finds moral guidance there; ¹  those who obey them receive a rich reward. ² 

I did not harm them, but they hid a net to catch me and dug a pit to trap me. ¹ 

How long, O Lord, will this last? Will you remain hidden forever? ¹  Will your anger continue to burn like fire?

for the Lord will be ¹  the source of your confidence, ²  and he will guard your foot ³  from being caught in a trap. ⁴ 

The one who goes about slandering others ¹  reveals ²  secrets, but the one who is trustworthy ³  conceals a matter.

The human spirit ¹  is like ²  the lamp ³  of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts. ⁴ 

Yes, you are a God who keeps hidden, O God of Israel, deliverer!

ד (Dalet) To me he is like a bear lying in ambush, ¹  like a hidden lion ²  stalking its prey. ³ 

You shrouded yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can get through.

He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall.” So I dug into the wall and discovered a doorway.

According to their uncleanness and rebellion I have dealt with them, and I hid my face from them.

Then another ¹  slave ²  came and said, ‘Sir, here is ³  your mina that I put away for safekeeping ⁴  in a piece of cloth. ⁵ 

or when he touches human uncleanness with regard to anything by which he can become unclean, ¹  even if he did not realize it, but he himself has later come to know it and is guilty;
