So Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a container of wine, and a young goat ¹  and sent them to Saul with ²  his son David.

Better is a person of humble standing ¹  who nevertheless has a servant, ²  than one who pretends to be somebody important ³  yet has no food.

The one who works ¹  his field will have plenty ²  of food, but whoever chases daydreams ³  lacks wisdom. ⁴ 

Do not eat the food of a stingy person, ¹  do not crave his delicacies;

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink,
