that I may cause ¹  those who love me to inherit wealth, and that I may fill ²  their treasuries. ³ 

The priests should receive the silver they need from the treasurers and repair any damage to the temple they discover.” ¹ 

The four head gatekeepers, who were Levites, were assigned to guard the storerooms and treasuries in God’s sanctuary. ¹

They did not neglect any detail of the king’s orders pertaining to the priests, Levites, and treasuries. ¹ 

For he knows no satisfaction in his appetite; ¹  he does not let anything he desires ²  escape. ³ 

a hidden path ¹  no bird of prey knows – no falcon’s ²  eye has spotted it.

Proud beasts ¹  have not set foot on it, and no lion has passed along it.

He has cut out channels ¹  through the rocks; his eyes have spotted ²  every precious thing.

He has searched ¹  the sources ²  of the rivers and what was hidden he has brought into the light.

Surely ¹  I would wear it proudly ²  on my shoulder, I would bind ³  it on me like a crown;

Yes, your servant finds moral guidance there; ¹  those who obey them receive a rich reward. ² 

I remember your name during the night, O Lord, and I will keep ¹  your law.

I claim your rules as my permanent possession, for they give me joy. ¹
