Leave Babylon! Flee from the Babylonians! Announce it with a shout of joy! Make this known! Proclaim it throughout the earth! ¹  Say, ‘The Lord protects ²  his servant Jacob.

Moses ¹  said, “It is not the sound of those who shout for victory, ²  nor is it the sound of those who cry because they are overcome, ³  but the sound of singing ⁴  I hear.” ⁵ 

Even those living in the most remote areas are awestruck by your acts; ¹  you cause those living in the east and west to praise you. ² 

A voice says, “Cry out!” Another asks, ¹  “What should I cry out?” The first voice responds: ²  “All people are like grass, ³  and all their promises ⁴  are like the flowers in the field.

May that man be like the cities ¹  that the Lord destroyed without showing any mercy. May he hear a cry of distress in the morning and a battle cry at noon.

When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to shout, ¹  “Jesus, Son of David, ²  have mercy ³  on me!”

So when the crowds saw what Paul had done, they shouted ¹  in the Lycaonian language, ²  “The gods have come down to us in human form!” ³ 

other than ¹  this one thing ²  I shouted out while I stood before ³  them: ‘I am on trial before you today concerning the resurrection of the dead.’” ⁴ 

As he yelled curses, Shimei said, “Leave! Leave! You man of bloodshed, you wicked man! ¹ 

The Lord thundered ¹  in ²  the sky; the sovereign One ³  shouted. ⁴ 

By this ¹  I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does ²  not triumph ³  over me.

How blessed are the people who worship you! ¹  O Lord, they experience your favor. ² 

Let’s enter his presence ¹  with thanksgiving! Let’s shout out to him in celebration! ² 

When he led his people out, they rejoiced; his chosen ones shouted with joy. ¹ 

They celebrate deliverance in the tents of the godly. ¹  The Lord’s right hand conquers, ² 

“Sing out and be happy, Zion my daughter! ¹  For look, I have come; I will settle in your midst,” says the Lord.

the voice of one shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make ¹  his paths straight.’” ² 

So ¹  he called out, ²  “Jesus, Son of David, ³  have mercy ⁴  on me!”

But they all shouted out together, ¹  “Take this man ²  away! Release Barabbas for us!”

They were shouting out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, ¹  to the one seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
