Do not exploit ¹  a poor person because he is poor and do not crush the needy in court, ² 

Do not move an ancient boundary stone ¹  which was put in place by your ancestors. ² 

Their children will be smashed to pieces before their very eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives raped.

Give to the one who asks you, ¹  and do not reject ²  the one who wants to borrow from you.

But you yourselves wrong and cheat, and you do this to your brothers and sisters! ¹ 

Furthermore, ¹  they did not repent of their murders, of their magic spells, ²  of their sexual immorality, or of their stealing.

when it happens that he sins and he is found guilty, ¹  then he must return whatever he had stolen, or whatever he had extorted, or the thing that he had held in trust, ²  or the lost thing that he had found,

The Lord spoke to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any portion of property ¹  among them – I am your portion and your inheritance among the Israelites.
