My heart is parched ¹  and withered like grass, for I am unable ²  to eat food. ³ 

Do not those who devise ¹  evil go astray? But those who plan good exhibit ²  faithful covenant love. ³ 

Train ¹  a child ²  in the way that he should go, ³  and when he is old he will not turn from it. ⁴ 

Like cold water to a weary person, ¹  so is good news from a distant land. ² 

The earth is broken in pieces, the earth is ripped to shreds, the earth shakes violently. ¹ 

Listen to me, you stubborn people, ¹  you who distance yourself from doing what is right. ²

But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tiny stroke of a letter ¹  in the law to become void. ² 

When ¹  I returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, I fell into a trance ² 

When the ship was caught in it ¹  and could not head into ²  the wind, we gave way to it and were driven ³  along.

and if you are convinced ¹  that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,
