Those who love your law are completely secure; ¹  nothing causes them to stumble. ² 

The lips of the righteous know ¹  what is pleasing, ²  but the speech ³  of the wicked is perverse.

A person has joy ¹  in giving an appropriate answer, ²  and a word at the right time ³  – how good it is!

A bright look ¹  brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the body. ² 

The Lord works ¹  everything for its own ends ²  – even the wicked for the day of disaster. ³ 

For it is pleasing if ¹  you keep these sayings ²  within you, and ³  they are ready on your lips. ⁴ 

I adorned you with jewelry. I put bracelets on your hands and a necklace around your neck.

The offerings ¹  of Judah and Jerusalem ²  will be pleasing to the Lord as in former times and years past.

So ¹  with many parables like these, he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear.

What then shall we say that Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh, ¹  has discovered regarding this matter? ²

giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share ¹  in the saints’ ²  inheritance in the light.

that the person dedicated to God ¹  may be capable ²  and equipped for every good work.

By his will ¹  we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

So ¹  I began weeping bitterly ²  because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.
