Then Aaron is to present the sin offering bull which is for himself and is to make atonement on behalf of himself and his household.

“Speak to Aaron, his sons, and all the Israelites, and tell them: ‘This is the word that the Lord has commanded:

¹ Now these are the records ²  of Aaron and Moses when ³  the Lord spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai.

These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed ¹  priests, whom he consecrated ²  to minister as priests. ³ 

“Bring the tribe of Levi near, ¹  and present ²  them before Aaron the priest, that they may serve him. ³ 

You are to assign ¹  the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they will be assigned exclusively ²  to him out of all ³  the Israelites.

And give the money for the redemption of the excess number of them to Aaron and his sons.”

Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons, according to the word of the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

So Moses and Aaron and the leaders of the community numbered the Kohathites by their families and by clans,

All who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of Israel numbered by their families and by their clans,

“Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is the way ¹  you are to bless ²  the Israelites. Say ³  to them:

Then Moses and Aaron fell down with their faces to the ground ¹  before the whole assembled community ²  of the Israelites.

Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and to the whole community.

And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom. He said:

Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up on Mount Hor.

¹ After the plague the Lord said to Moses and to Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, ² 

But there was not a man among these who had been ¹  among those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the Israelites in the wilderness of Sinai.

¹ These are the journeys of the Israelites, who went out of the land of Egypt by their divisions under the authority ²  of Moses and Aaron.

Now Aaron was 123 years old when he died in Mount Hor.

They were assigned to the Kohathite clans of the Levites who were descendants of Aaron, ¹  for the first lot belonged to them.
