They set the onyx stones in gold filigree settings, engraved as with the engravings of a seal ¹  with the names of the sons of Israel. ²

Finally, he set the turban ¹  on his head and attached the gold plate, the holy diadem, ²  to the front of the turban just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Then he ¹  took all the fat on the entrails, the protruding lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat, ²  and Moses offered it all up in smoke on the altar, ³ 

Then he took the fat (the fatty tail, ¹  all the fat on the entrails, the protruding lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat ² ) and the right thigh, ³ 

As for the fat parts from the ox and from the ram ¹  (the fatty tail, the fat covering the entrails, ²  the kidneys, and the protruding lobe of the liver),

“They must spread a blue cloth on the gold altar, and cover it with a covering of fine leather; and they must insert its poles.

“Speak to the Israelites and tell them to make ¹  tassels ²  for themselves on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and put a blue thread ³  on the tassel of the corners.

They must join ¹  with you, and they will be responsible for the care of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent, but no unauthorized person ²  may approach you.

The Lord said to Moses, “Make a poisonous snake and set it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks ¹  at it, he will live.”

So Moses made a bronze snake and put it on a pole, so that if a snake had bitten someone, when he looked at the bronze snake he lived. ¹ 

We must let them live so we can escape the curse attached to the oath we swore to them.” ¹ 

On top of each stand was a round opening three-quarters of a foot deep; ¹  there were also supports and frames on top of the stands.

There were six steps leading up to the throne, and the back of it was rounded on top. The throne had two armrests with a statue of a lion standing on each side. ¹ 

Likewise one of the second cherub’s wings was seven and one-half feet long and touched the other wall of the temple; its other wing was also seven and one-half feet long and touched one of the first cherub’s wings. ¹ 

Do not trust in what you can gain by oppression! ¹  Do not put false confidence in what you can gain by robbery! ²  If wealth increases, do not become attached to it! ³ 

Now at that time, ¹  the armies of the king of Babylon were besieging Jerusalem. ²  The prophet Jeremiah was confined in the courtyard of the guardhouse ³  attached to the royal palace of Judah.
