So in the same way at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.

There are probably many kinds of languages in the world, and none is without meaning.

It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable. ¹ 

I fear for you that my work for you may have been in vain.

But Rebekah’s ¹  brother and her mother replied, “Let the girl stay with us a few more days, perhaps ten. Then she can go.”

“I left secretly because I was afraid!” ¹  Jacob replied to Laban. “I thought ²  you might take your daughters away from me by force. ³ 

But Jacob did not send Joseph’s brother Benjamin with his brothers, ¹  for he said, ²  “What if some accident ³  happens ⁴  to him?”

You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

So the Jewish leaders ¹  began to say, ²  “Perhaps he is going to kill himself, because he says, ‘Where I am going you cannot come.’”
