When you sit down to eat with a ruler, consider carefully ¹  what ²  is before you,

Fools ¹  are placed in many positions of authority, ²  while wealthy men sit in lowly positions.

to open blind eyes, ¹  to release prisoners ²  from dungeons, those who live in darkness from prisons.

Then a round lead cover was raised up, revealing a woman sitting inside the basket.

And whoever swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and the one who sits on it.

The one who sits on the furniture the man with a discharge sits on must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

A psalm of David. Here is the Lord’s proclamation ²  to my lord: ³  “Sit down at my right hand ⁴  until I make your enemies your footstool!” ⁵ 

י (Yod) The elders of Daughter Zion sit ¹  on the ground in silence. ²  They have thrown dirt on their heads; They have dressed in sackcloth. ³  Jerusalem’s young women ⁴  stare down at the ground. ⁵ 

Two ¹  blind men were sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they shouted, ²  “Have mercy ³  on us, Lord, Son of David!” ⁴ 

‘The Lord said to my lord, ¹  “Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’? ² 

They came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man sitting there, clothed and in his right mind – the one who had the “Legion” – and they were afraid.

(Now about five thousand men ¹  were there.) ²  Then ³  he said to his disciples, “Have ⁴  them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”

For David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my ¹  lord, “Sit at my right hand,

Jesus said, “Have ¹  the people sit down.” (Now there was a lot of grass in that place.) ²  So the men ³  sat down, about five thousand in number.

For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says, ‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit ¹  at my right hand

But to which of the angels ¹  has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”? ² 

Jesus ¹  said to them, “I tell you the truth: ²  In the age when all things are renewed, ³  when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging ⁴  the twelve tribes of Israel.

While they were sitting at the table, the Lord spoke through the old prophet ¹ 

You plot against your brother; ¹  you slander your own brother. ²
