After he spent ¹  some time there, Paul left and went through the region of Galatia ²  and Phrygia, ³  strengthening all the disciples.

But now ¹  apart from the law the righteousness of God (which is attested by the law and the prophets) ²  has been disclosed –

For the promise ¹  to Abraham or to his descendants that he would inherit the world was not fulfilled through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

Not ¹  only this, but we also rejoice ²  in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.

(for if you live according to the flesh, you will ¹  die), ²  but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live.

So, brothers and sisters, ¹  I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as people of the flesh, ²  as infants in Christ.

So then, let us celebrate the festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of vice and evil, but with the bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth. ¹ 

But God gives it a body just as he planned, and to each of the seeds a body of its own.

For if what was made ineffective ¹  came with ²  glory, how much more has what remains ³  come in glory!

Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as God has shown us mercy, ¹  we do not become discouraged. ² 

For in this earthly house ¹  we groan, because we desire to put on ²  our heavenly dwelling,

And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised. ¹ 

And all these things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

The only thing I want to learn from you is this: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law ¹  or by believing what you heard? ² 

Are you so foolish? Although you began ¹  with ²  the Spirit, are you now trying to finish ³  by human effort? ⁴ 

even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! ¹  –

Now this secret ¹  was not disclosed to people ²  in former ³  generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by ⁴  the Spirit,

You were taught with reference to your former way of life to lay aside ¹  the old man who is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires,

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a heart of mercy, ¹  kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus our deliverer from the coming wrath. ¹
