So Joab and Abishai chased Abner. At sunset they came to the hill of Ammah near Giah on the way to the wilderness of Gibeon.

It emerges from the distant horizon, ¹  and goes from one end of the sky to the other; ²  nothing can escape ³  its heat.

Even those living in the most remote areas are awestruck by your acts; ¹  you cause those living in the east and west to praise you. ²
