I asked the messenger who was speaking to me, “Where are they taking the basket?”

So now there are many members, but one body.

The Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh came to Geliloth near the Jordan in the land of Canaan and built there, near the Jordan, an impressive altar. ¹ 

Then he led me toward the south. I saw ¹  a gate on the south. He measured its jambs and its porches; they had the same dimensions as the others.

The dry and liquid measures will be the same, the bath will contain a tenth of a homer, ¹  and the ephah a tenth of a homer; the homer will be the standard measure.

He told them, “It was because of your little faith. I tell you the truth, ¹  if you have faith the size of ²  a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; nothing ³  will be impossible for you.” ⁴ 

The priest must return on the seventh day and examine it, and if ¹  the infection has spread in the walls of the house,

The foundation was made of large valuable stones, measuring either 15 feet or 12 feet. ¹ 

So he sent horses and chariots there, along with a good-sized army. ¹  They arrived during the night and surrounded the city.

Who set its measurements – if ¹  you know – or who stretched a measuring line across it?

He is not enamored with the strength of a horse, nor is he impressed by the warrior’s strong legs. ¹ 

Their land is full of worthless idols; they worship ¹  the product of their own hands, what their own fingers have fashioned.

The Lord says to Edom, ¹  “I will certainly make you small among nations. I will make you despised by all humankind.

Then he brought me to the north gate, and he measured it; it had the same dimensions as the others –

The Lord says, ¹  “Look! I will ²  make you a weak nation; ³  you will be greatly despised!

Then a round lead cover was raised up, revealing a woman sitting inside the basket.

I will signal for them and gather them, for I have already redeemed them; then they will become as numerous as they were before.

But ¹  when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled back.

For ¹  Peter ²  and all who were with him were astonished ³  at the catch of fish that they had taken,

So the churches were being strengthened in the faith and were increasing in number every day. ¹
