For they were in three stories and had no pillars like the pillars of the courts; therefore the upper chambers ¹  were set back from the ground more than the lower and upper ones.

But his disciples took him at night and let him down through an opening ¹  in the wall by lowering him in a basket. ²

Then there was a voice from above the platform over their heads when they stood still. ¹ 

Below these chambers was a passage on the east side as one enters from the outer court.

but I was let down in a rope-basket ¹  through a window in the city wall, and escaped his hands.
