Then you will say to my brother, ¹  “Peace to you and your house! Peace to all that is yours!

Turn my eyes away from what is worthless! ¹  Revive me with your word! ² 

I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have revived me.

A tranquil spirit ¹  revives the body, ²  but envy ³  is rottenness to the bones. ⁴ 

Speech ¹  that heals ²  is like ³  a life-giving tree, ⁴  but a perverse tongue ⁵  breaks the spirit.

A cheerful heart ¹  brings good healing, ²  but a crushed spirit ³  dries up the bones. ⁴
