They went to the entrance of Gedor, to the east of the valley, looking for pasture for their sheep.

He brought the east wind through the sky, and by his strength led forth the south wind.

“The Lord who rules over all asserts, ‘I am about to save my people from the lands of the east and the west.

There are ¹  three gates on the east side, three gates on the north side, three gates on the south side and three gates on the west side. ² 

The border will run down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain, and the border will descend and reach the eastern side of the Sea of Chinnereth. ¹ 

Then he moved from there to the hill country east of Bethel ¹  and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and worshiped the Lord. ² 

So Moses extended his staff over the land of Egypt, and then the Lord ¹  brought ²  an east wind on the land all that day and all night. ³  The morning came, ⁴  and the east wind had brought up ⁵  the locusts!
