When they came to the disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and experts in the law ¹  arguing with them.

But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release ¹  Barabbas instead.

But ¹  some of the Pharisees ²  in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” ³ 

Then ¹  Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no basis for an accusation ²  against this man.”

A large crowd was following him because they were observing the miraculous signs he was performing on the sick.

The crowd ¹  answered, “You’re possessed by a demon! ²  Who is trying to kill you?” ³ 

The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. ¹ 

And such a large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat to sit while ¹  the whole crowd stood on the shore.

for a crowd of people ¹  followed them, ²  screaming, “Away with him!”

Because of the crowd, he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him so the crowd ¹  would not press toward him.

Jesus spoke all these things in parables to the crowds; he did not speak to them without a parable.

But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus killed.

Now ¹  Jesus ²  went home, and a crowd gathered so that they were not able to eat.

When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, ¹ 

Then the crowd came up and began to ask Pilate to release a prisoner for them, as was his custom. ¹ 

Now when Jesus returned, ¹  the crowd welcomed him, because they were all waiting for him.

Now on ¹  the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, a large crowd met him.

Now large crowds ¹  were accompanying Jesus, ²  and turning to them he said,

So ¹  Judas ²  agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus ³  when no crowd was present. ⁴ 

He ¹  was trying to get a look at Jesus, ²  but being a short man he could not see over the crowd. ³
