Now Zillah also gave birth to Tubal-Cain, who heated metal and shaped ¹  all kinds of tools made of bronze and iron. The sister of Tubal-Cain was Naamah.

When ¹  Adam had lived 130 years he fathered a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and he named him Seth.

The length of time Adam lived ¹  after he became the father of Seth was 800 years; during this time he had ²  other ³  sons and daughters.

Lamech lived 595 years after he became the father of Noah, and he had other ¹  sons and daughters.

This is the account of Shem. Shem was 100 old when he became the father of Arphaxad, two years after the flood.

Is anything impossible ¹  for the Lord? I will return to you when the season comes round again and Sarah will have a son.” ²

and commanded the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God ¹  being carried by the Levitical priests, you must leave here ²  and walk ³  behind it.

But Saul replied to David, “You aren’t able to go against this Philistine and fight him! You’re just a boy! He has been a warrior from his youth!”

When the time comes for you to die, ¹  I will raise up your descendant, one of your own sons, to succeed you, ²  and I will establish his kingdom.

So David comforted his wife Bathsheba. He went to her and had marital relations with her. ¹  She gave birth to a son, and David ²  named him Solomon. Now the Lord loved the child ³ 

Then three days after I had my baby, this woman also had a baby. We were alone; there was no one else in the house except the two of us. ¹
