who risked their own necks for my life. Not only I, but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.

If we sowed spiritual blessings among you, is it too much to reap material things from you?

since it was because of the work of Christ that he almost died. He risked his life so that he could make up for your inability to serve me. ¹ 

Your faith and love have arisen ¹  from the hope laid up ²  for you in heaven, which you have heard about in the message of truth, the gospel ³ 

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, ¹  admonish the undisciplined, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient toward all.

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not arrive until the rebellion comes ¹  and the man of lawlessness ²  is revealed, the son of destruction. ³ 

So communicate these things with the sort of exhortation or rebuke ¹  that carries full authority. ²  Don’t let anyone look down ³  on you.

Now when God made his promise to Abraham, since he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself,

where Jesus our forerunner entered on our behalf, since he became a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. ¹

And this is the confidence that we have before him: that ¹  whenever ²  we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

You must set boundaries ¹  for the people all around, saying, ‘Take heed ²  to yourselves not to go up on the mountain nor touch its edge. Whoever touches the mountain will surely be put to death!
