Your shepherds ¹  are sleeping, O king of Assyria! Your officers ²  are slumbering! ³  Your people are scattered like sheep ⁴  on the mountains and there is no one to regather them!

That day will be a day of God’s anger, ¹  a day of distress and hardship, a day of devastation and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and dark skies,

She is disobedient; ¹  she refuses correction. ²  She does not trust the Lord; she does not seek the advice of ³  her God.

No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, because the patch will pull away from the garment and the tear will be worse.

And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about this.”

They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go and work in the vineyard too.’

And if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; otherwise, the patch pulls away from it, the new from the old, and the tear becomes worse.

But Jesus said, “Do not stop him, because no one who does a miracle in my name will be able soon afterward to say anything bad about me.

Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? ¹  No one is good except God alone.

He said to it, ¹  “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it. ² 

And if the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would be saved. But because of the elect, whom he chose, he has cut them ¹  short.

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. ¹  If he does, the new wine will burst the skins and will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.

¹  No ²  one after drinking old wine wants the new, for he says, ‘The old is good enough.’” ³ 

I tell you, among those born of women no one is greater ¹  than John. ²  Yet the one who is least ³  in the kingdom of God ⁴  is greater than he is.”

“No one lights ¹  a lamp ²  and then covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in can see the light. ³ 

Now ¹  a woman was there who had been suffering from a hemorrhage ²  for twelve years ³  but could not be healed by anyone.

After ¹  the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. So ²  they kept silent and told no one ³  at that time ⁴  anything of what they had seen.

Jesus ¹  said to him, “No one who puts his ²  hand to the plow and looks back ³  is fit for the kingdom of God.” ⁴ 

“No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a hidden place ¹  or under a basket, ²  but on a lampstand, so that those who come in can see the light.
