If a man has sexual intercourse with a male as one has sexual intercourse with a woman, ¹  the two of them have committed an abomination. They must be put to death; their blood guilt is on themselves.

If a woman approaches any animal to have sexual intercourse with it, ¹  you must kill the woman, and the animal must be put to death; their blood guilt is on themselves.

“‘A man or woman who ¹  has in them a spirit of the dead or a familiar spirit ²  must be put to death. They must pelt them with stones; ³  their blood guilt is on themselves.’”

You must not pity him, but purge out the blood of the innocent ¹  from Israel, so that it may go well with you.

In this manner you will purge out the guilt of innocent blood from among you, for you must do what is right before ¹  the Lord.

their troubles multiply, they desire other gods. ¹  I will not pour out drink offerings of blood to their gods, ²  nor will I make vows in the name of their gods. ³ 

If they say, “Come with us! We will ¹  lie in wait ²  to shed blood; ³  we will ambush ⁴  an innocent person ⁵  capriciously. ⁶
