Then Festus ¹  replied that Paul was being kept at Caesarea, ²  and he himself intended to go there ³  shortly.

From Paul, ¹  called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus ²  by the will of God, and Sosthenes, our brother,

In any case, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.

For though we live ¹  as human beings, ²  we do not wage war according to human standards, ³ 

if indeed ¹  you have heard of the stewardship ²  of God’s grace that was given to me for you,

that ¹  by revelation the divine secret ²  was made known to me, as I wrote before briefly. ³ 

When reading this, ¹  you will be able to ²  understand my insight into this secret ³  of Christ.

And since I am sure of this, I know that I will remain and continue with all of you for the sake of your progress ¹  and joy in the faith, ²

For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them. ¹
