(Now none of those present at the table ¹  understood ²  why Jesus ³  said this to Judas. ⁴ 

They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, ¹  to the breaking of bread and to prayer. ² 

and after taking some food, his strength returned. For several days ¹  he was with the disciples in Damascus,

When they had eaten enough to be satisfied, ¹  they lightened the ship by throwing the wheat ²  into the sea.

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I blamed for the food ¹  that I give thanks for?

Now when you come together at the same place, you are not really eating the Lord’s Supper.

A person should examine himself first, ¹  and in this way ²  let him eat the bread and drink of the cup.

So then, my brothers and sisters, ¹  when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

Therefore we ¹  ought to support such people, so that we become coworkers in cooperation with the truth. ² 

He also prepared some tasty food and brought it to his father. Esau ¹  said to him, “My father, get up ²  and eat some of your son’s wild game. Then you can bless me.” ³ 

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the servant who was over his household, “Bring the men to the house. Slaughter an animal and prepare it, for the men will eat with me at noon.”

This is how you are to eat it – dressed to travel, ¹  your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover. ² 

Moreover, you must season every one of your grain offerings with salt; you must not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be missing from your grain offering ¹  – on every one of your grain offerings you must present salt.

and the priest ¹  must take up with his hand some of the choice wheat flour of the grain offering ²  and some of its olive oil, and all of the frankincense that is on the grain offering, and he must offer its memorial portion ³  up in smoke on the altar ⁴  as a soothing aroma to the Lord. ⁵ 

“This is the offering of Aaron and his sons which they must present to the Lord on the day when he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah ¹  of choice wheat flour ²  as a continual grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

along with its grain offering, two tenths of an ephah of ¹  choice wheat flour ²  mixed with olive oil, as a gift to the Lord, a soothing aroma, ³  and its drink offering, one fourth of a hin of wine. ⁴ 

“‘On the Sabbath day, you must offer ¹  two unblemished lambs a year old, and two-tenths of an ephah ²  of finely ground flour as a grain offering, mixed with olive oil, along with its drink offering.

this is in addition to the monthly burnt offering and its grain offering, and the daily burnt offering with its grain offering and their drink offerings as prescribed, as a sweet aroma, a sacrifice made by fire to the Lord.

Their grain offering must be of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil, three-tenths of an ephah for each of the thirteen bulls, two-tenths of an ephah for each of the two rams,

He woke up early in the morning on the fifth day so he could leave, but the girl’s father said, “Get some energy. ¹  Wait until later in the day to leave!” ²  So they ate a meal together.
