He replied, “What is impossible ¹  for mere humans ²  is possible for God.”

If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all people. ¹ 

Then Jesus said to him, “‘If you are able?’ ¹  All things are possible for the one who believes.”

Jesus ¹  looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, ²  but for God all things are possible.”

For false messiahs ¹  and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Jesus looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, ¹  but not for God; all things are possible for God.”

Going a little farther, he threw himself to the ground and prayed that if it were possible the hour would pass from him.

He said, “Abba, ¹  Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup ²  away from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

For the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins. ¹ 

For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus ¹  so as not to spend time ²  in the province of Asia, ³  for he was hurrying ⁴  to arrive in Jerusalem, ⁵  if possible, ⁶  by the day of Pentecost.

Going a little farther, he threw himself down with his face to the ground and prayed, ¹  “My Father, if possible, ²  let this cup ³  pass from me! Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Where then is your sense of happiness ¹  now? For I testify about you that if it were possible, you would have pulled out your eyes and given them to me!

But God raised him up, ¹  having released ²  him from the pains ³  of death, because it was not possible for him to be held in its power. ⁴ 

Those who accompanied Paul escorted him as far as Athens, ¹  and after receiving an order for Silas and Timothy to come to him as soon as possible, they left. ² 

When day came, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed ¹  a bay ²  with a beach, ³  where they decided to run the ship aground if they could.

Nicodemus replied, ¹  “How can these things be?” ² 

and so, somehow, ¹  to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord ¹  that he may perhaps forgive you for the intent of your heart. ² 

Again he measured 1,750 feet and it was a river I could not cross, for the water had risen; it was deep enough to swim in, a river that could not be crossed.
