If a false ¹  witness testifies against another person and accuses him of a crime, ² 

All unrighteousness ¹  is sin, but there is sin not resulting in death. ² 

Or these men here ¹  should tell what crime ²  they found me guilty of ³  when I stood before the council, ⁴ 

It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth.

Doing wickedness ¹  is an abomination to kings, because a throne ²  is established in righteousness.

Yes, ¹  I confess my wrongdoing, and I am concerned about my sins.

Wash away my wrongdoing! ¹  Cleanse me of my sin! ² 

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people ¹  who suppress the truth by their ²  unrighteousness, ³ 

But just as Paul was about to speak, ¹  Gallio said to the Jews, “If it were a matter of some crime or serious piece of villainy, ²  I would have been justified in accepting the complaint ³  of you Jews, ⁴ 

In all this Job did not sin, nor did he charge God with moral impropriety. ¹ 

You pardoned ¹  the wrongdoing of your people; you forgave ²  all their sin. (Selah)

The wicked will be thrown down in his trouble, ¹  but the righteous have refuge ²  even in the threat of death. ³ 

Then I confessed my sin; I no longer covered up my wrongdoing. I said, “I will confess ¹  my rebellious acts to the Lord.” And then you forgave my sins. ²  (Selah)

He must bring his guilt offering to the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, a guilt offering ram, ¹ 

From the city the dying ¹  groan, and the wounded ²  cry out for help, but God charges no one with wrongdoing. ³ 

When a righteous person turns back from his righteousness and practices wrongdoing, he will die for it; ¹  because of the wrongdoing he has done, he will die.

They have sunk deep into corruption ¹  as in the days of Gibeah. He will remember their wrongdoing. He will repay them for their sins.

Why do you force me to witness injustice? ¹  Why do you put up with wrongdoing? ²  Destruction and violence confront ³  me; conflict is present and one must endure strife. ⁴ 

By forsaking the right path they have gone astray, because they followed the way of Balaam son of Bosor, ¹  who loved the wages of unrighteousness, ² 

yet was rebuked ¹  for his own transgression (a dumb donkey, ²  speaking with a human voice, ³  restrained the prophet’s madness). ⁴
