When Moses finished ¹  speaking ²  with them, he would ³  put a veil on his face.

but when one ¹  turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. ² 

Like a slice of pomegranate is your forehead ¹  behind your veil.

She left immediately, ¹  removed her veil, and put on her widow’s clothes.

But until this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds, ¹ 

You are to hang this curtain under the clasps and bring the ark of the testimony in there behind the curtain. ¹  The curtain will make a division for you between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. ² 

Your lips are like a scarlet thread; ¹  your mouth is lovely. Your forehead ²  behind your veil is like a slice of pomegranate.

Pick up millstones and grind flour! Remove your veil, strip off your skirt, expose your legs, cross the streams!

And after the second curtain there was a tent called the holy of holies.

But their minds were closed. ¹  For to this very day, the same veil remains when they hear the old covenant read. ²  It has not been removed because only in Christ is it taken away. ³ 

because the sun’s light failed. ¹  The temple curtain ²  was torn in two.

and asked ¹  Abraham’s servant, ²  “Who is that man walking in the field toward us?” “That is my master,” the servant replied. ³  So she took her veil and covered herself.

But when Moses went in ¹  before the Lord to speak with him, he would remove the veil until he came out. ²  Then he would come out and tell the Israelites what he had been commanded. ³ 

When the Israelites would see ¹  the face of Moses, that ²  the skin of Moses’ face shone, Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with the Lord. ³ 

and not like Moses who used to put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites ¹  from staring ²  at the result ³  of the glory that was made ineffective. ⁴ 

You are to place the ark of the testimony in it and shield the ark with the special curtain.

And he put the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the curtain,

He made the curtain out of violet, purple, crimson, and white fabrics, and embroidered on it decorative cherubim.

by the fresh and living way that he inaugurated for us ¹  through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, ² 

and the coverings of ram skins dyed red, the covering of fine leather, ¹  and the protecting ²  curtain;
