Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, I tell you, but seventy-seven times! ¹ 

Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to you saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive ¹  him.”

Three times I was beaten with a rod. ¹  Once I received a stoning. ²  Three times I suffered shipwreck. A night and a day I spent adrift in the open sea.

At ¹  three times in the year all your males will appear before the Lord God. ² 

Seven ¹  times a day I praise you because of your just regulations.

This happened three times, and then everything was pulled up to heaven again.

Five times I received from the Jews forty lashes less one. ¹ 

But understand this, that in the last days difficult ¹  times will come.

“Three times ¹  in the year you must make a pilgrim feast ²  to me.

This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into heaven. ¹ 

I asked the Lord three times about this, that it would depart from me.

They contacted ¹  me four times in this way, and I responded the same way each time. ² 

Although ¹  a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down ²  by calamity.

I desperately long to know ¹  your regulations at all times.

Then Peter came to him and said, “Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother ¹  who sins against me? As many as seven times?”

Consequently ¹  the Lord provides safety for the oppressed; ²  he provides safety in times of trouble. ³ 

The prophet ¹  got angry at him and said, “If you had struck the ground five or six times, you would have annihilated Syria! ²  But now, you will defeat Syria only three times.”

At three times ¹  in the year all your men ²  must appear before the Lord God, ³  the God of Israel.

These ten times ¹  you have been reproaching me; ²  you are not ashamed to attack me! ³ 

A friend ¹  loves at all times, and a relative ²  is born to help in adversity. ³
