You stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them. ¹ 

Who set its measurements – if ¹  you know – or who stretched a measuring line across it?

However, ¹  because ²  I called but you refused to listen, ³  because ⁴  I stretched out my hand ⁵  but no one paid attention,

Then I looked and realized a hand was stretched out to me, and in it was a written scroll.

I made the earth, I created the people who live ¹  on it. It was me – my hands ²  stretched out the sky, ³  I give orders to all the heavenly lights. ⁴ 

So Moses extended his hand toward heaven, and there was absolute darkness ¹  throughout the land of Egypt for three days. ² 

The Lord stretched out his hand over the sea, ¹  he shook kingdoms; he ²  gave the order to destroy Canaan’s fortresses. ³ 

The Lord is the one who ¹  by his power made the earth. He is the one who by his wisdom established the world. And by his understanding he spread out the skies.

He is the one who ¹  by his power made the earth. He is the one who by his wisdom fixed the world in place, by his understanding he spread out the heavens.

for he stretches out his hand against God, ¹  and vaunts himself ²  against the Almighty,

Joshua kept holding out his curved sword until Israel had annihilated all who lived in Ai. ¹ 

So Aaron extended his hand over the waters of Egypt, and frogs ¹  came up and covered the land of Egypt.

This is the plan I have devised for the whole earth; my hand is ready to strike all the nations.” ¹ 

Indeed, ¹  the Lord who commands armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it? ² 

Under the platform their wings were stretched out, each toward the other. Each of the beings also had two wings covering ¹  its body.

He stretched out over the boy three times and called out to the Lord, “O Lord, my God, please let this boy’s breath return to him.”

At the celebration ¹  of their king, ²  his princes become inflamed ³  with wine; they conspire ⁴  with evildoers.

Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out and it was restored, ¹  as healthy as the other.

Moses stretched out his hand toward the sea, and the Lord drove the sea apart ¹  by a strong east wind all that night, and he made the sea into dry land, and the water was divided.

Moved with compassion, ¹  Jesus ²  stretched out his hand and touched ³  him, saying, “I am willing. Be clean!”
