Have you entered the storehouse ¹  of the snow, or seen the armory ²  of the hail,

He sends the snow that is white like wool; he spreads the frost that is white like ashes. ¹ 

His ¹  appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.

They ¹  are dark ²  because of ice; snow is piled ³  up over them. ⁴ 

O fire and hail, snow and clouds, ¹  O stormy wind that carries out his orders, ² 

The drought as well as the heat carry away the melted snow; ¹  so the grave ²  takes away those who have sinned. ³ 

For to the snow he says, ‘Fall ¹  to earth,’ and to the torrential rains, ²  ‘Pour down.’ ³
