Each night and every day among the tombs and in the mountains, he would cry out and cut himself with stones.

When he heard me raise ¹  my voice and scream, he left his outer garment beside me and ran outside.”

For unclean spirits, ¹  crying with loud shrieks, were coming out of many who were possessed, ²  and many paralyzed and lame people were healed.

for a crowd of people ¹  followed them, ²  screaming, “Away with him!”

While they were screaming ¹  and throwing off their cloaks ²  and tossing dust ³  in the air,

She ¹  was pregnant and was screaming in labor pains, struggling ²  to give birth.

Demons also came out ¹  of many, crying out, ²  “You are the Son of God!” ³  But he rebuked ⁴  them, and would not allow them to speak, ⁵  because they knew that he was the Christ. ⁶ 

But because it is heavier ¹  than the sand ²  of the sea, that is why my words have been wild. ³ 

They ¹  cried out, “Son of God, leave us alone! ²  Have you come here to torment us before the time?” ³ 

And whenever the unclean spirits ¹  saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.”

It shrieked, threw him into terrible convulsions, and came out. The boy ¹  looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He is dead!”

she called for her household servants and said to them, “See, my husband brought ¹  in a Hebrew man ²  to us to humiliate us. ³  He tried to have sex with me, ⁴  but I screamed loudly. ⁵ 

At that time ¹  the Egyptians ²  will be like women. ³  They will tremble and fear because the Lord who commands armies brandishes his fist against them. ⁴ 

As when a pregnant woman gets ready to deliver and strains and cries out because of her labor pains, so were we because of you, O Lord.

Let cries of terror be heard in their houses when you send bands of raiders unexpectedly to plunder them. ¹  For they have virtually dug a pit to capture me and have hidden traps for me to step into.

Jerusalem, why are you ¹  now shouting so loudly? ²  Has your king disappeared? ³  Has your wise leader ⁴  been destroyed? Is this why ⁵  pain grips ⁶  you as if you were a woman in labor?

The Lord’s great day of judgment ¹  is almost here; it is approaching very rapidly! There will be a bitter sound on the Lord’s day of judgment; at that time warriors will cry out in battle. ² 

When he saw ¹  Jesus, he cried out, fell ²  down before him, and shouted with a loud voice, “Leave me alone, ³  Jesus, Son of the Most High ⁴  God! I beg you, do not torment ⁵  me!”

A ¹  spirit seizes him, and he suddenly screams; ²  it throws him into convulsions ³  and causes him to foam at the mouth. It hardly ever leaves him alone, torturing ⁴  him severely.

When they did not find them, they dragged ¹  Jason and some of the brothers before the city officials, ²  screaming, “These people who have stirred up trouble ³  throughout the world ⁴  have come here too,
