No one remembers the former events, ¹  nor will anyone remember ²  the events that are yet to happen; ³  they will not be remembered by the future generations. ⁴ 

He has helped his servant Israel, remembering ¹  his mercy, ² 

I thank my God every time I remember you. ¹ 

and after he had given thanks he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

For no one remembers you in the realm of death, ¹  In Sheol who gives you thanks? ² 

Remind me of what happened! Let’s debate! You, prove to me that you are right! ¹ 

Then ¹  he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body ²  which is given for you. ³  Do this in remembrance of me.”

In the same way, he also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, every time you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

But the Lord opposes evildoers and wipes out all memory of them from the earth. ¹ 

For he will never be upended; others will always remember one who is just. ¹ 

She asked Elijah, “Why, prophet, have you come ¹  to me to confront me with ²  my sin and kill my son?”

For the wise man, like ¹  the fool, will not be remembered for very long, ²  because ³  in the days to come, both will already have been forgotten. ⁴  Alas, ⁵  the wise man dies – just like ⁶  the fool!

Sing to the Lord, you faithful followers ¹  of his; give thanks to his holy name. ² 

I said, “During the night I will remember the song I once sang; I will think very carefully.” I tried to make sense of what was happening. ¹ 

You godly ones, rejoice in the Lord! Give thanks to his holy name. ¹ 

Yes, as your judgments unfold, ¹  O Lord, we wait for you. We desire your fame and reputation to grow. ² 

then ¹  the man must bring his wife to the priest, and he must bring the offering required for her, one tenth of an ephah of barley meal; he must not pour olive oil on it or put frankincense on it, because it is a grain offering of suspicion, ²  a grain offering for remembering, ³  for bringing ⁴  iniquity to remembrance.

His memory perishes from the earth, he has no name in the land. ¹ 

But you, O Lord, rule forever, ¹  and your reputation endures. ² 

I ¹  continually think about ²  this, and I ³  am depressed. ⁴
