Now Joab ¹  did not number Levi and Benjamin, for the king’s edict disgusted him.

Jesus ¹  gave them permission. ²  So ³  the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs. Then the herd rushed down the steep slope into the lake, and about two thousand were drowned in the lake.

So Moses numbered them according to the word ¹  of the Lord, just as he had been commanded. ²

Joseph stored up a vast amount of grain, like the sand of the sea, ¹  until he stopped measuring it because it was impossible to measure.
