Mankind does not know its place; ¹  it cannot be found in the land of the living.

Rise up, Lord! ¹  Don’t let men be defiant! ²  May the nations be judged in your presence!

Yet you will die like mortals; ¹  you will fall like all the other rulers.” ²

in God I trust, I am not afraid. What can mere men ¹  do to me? ²

I will make human beings more scarce than pure gold, and people more scarce ¹  than gold from Ophir.

so man lies down and does not rise; until the heavens are no more, ¹  they ²  will not awake nor arise from their sleep.
