Who set its measurements – if ¹  you know – or who stretched a measuring line across it?

Then he brought me to the north gate, and he measured it; it had the same dimensions as the others –

these will be its measurements: The north side will be one and one-half miles, ¹  the south side one and one-half miles, the east side one and one-half miles, and the west side one and one-half miles.

“And these are the measurements of the altar: ¹  Its base ²  is 1¾ feet ³  high, ⁴  and 1¾ feet ⁵  wide, and its border nine inches ⁶  on its edge. This is to be the height ⁷  of the altar.

The length of each ¹  curtain is to be forty-two feet, and the width of each curtain is to be six feet ²  – the same size for each of the curtains.

The second cherub also had a wingspan of 15 feet; it was identical to the first in measurements and shape. ¹ 

He made the ten stands in this way. All of them were cast in one mold and were identical in measurements and shape.

Its alcoves, three on each side, and its jambs and porches had the same measurement as the first gate; 87½ feet ¹  long and 43¾ feet ²  wide.
