But Lot’s ¹  wife looked back longingly ²  and was turned into a pillar of salt.

For he will look down from his sanctuary above; ¹  from heaven the Lord will look toward earth, ² 

He looked up at the window and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” Two or three ¹  eunuchs looked down at him.

Regaining his sight ¹  he said, “I see people, but they look like trees walking.”

For at the window of my house through my window lattice I looked out

Then they will say, ‘Under these conditions I can enjoy sweet sleep when I wake up and look around.’” ¹ 

Jesus ¹  looked up ²  and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box. ³ 

Then I looked and realized a hand was stretched out to me, and in it was a written scroll.

When I saw this, I gave careful consideration to it; ¹  I received instruction from what I saw: ² 

(2:1) ¹  Once again I looked and this time I saw four horns.

Suddenly when they looked around, they saw no one with them any more except Jesus.

After ¹  these things I looked, and the temple (the tent ²  of the testimony) ³  was opened in heaven,

“I looked at the land and saw ¹  that it was an empty wasteland. ²  I looked up at the sky, and its light had vanished.

Then Abner turned and asked, “Is that you, Asahel?” He replied, “Yes it is!”

I looked at the mountains and saw that they were shaking. All the hills were swaying back and forth!

I looked and saw that there were no more people, ¹  and that all the birds in the sky had flown away.

He brought me to the entrance of the court, and as I watched, I noticed a hole in the wall.

(2:5) I looked again, and there was a man with a measuring line in his hand.

Jesus ¹  looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, ²  but for God all things are possible.”

When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked directly at him and said, “You also were with that Nazarene, Jesus.”
