We said to my lord, ‘The boy cannot leave his father. If he leaves his father, his father ¹  will die.’ ² 

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, ¹ 

“I will not abandon ¹  you as orphans, ²  I will come to you. ³ 

Then ¹  they asked Jesus ²  to leave their region.

ע (Ayin) I do what is fair and right. ¹  Do not abandon me to my oppressors!

Leave your orphans behind and I will keep them alive. Your widows too can depend on me.” ¹ 

and came ¹  and apologized to them. After ²  they brought them out, they asked them repeatedly ³  to leave the city.

Moses said to them, “No one ¹  is to keep any of it ²  until morning.”

On that very day ¹  it must be eaten; you must not leave any part of it ²  over until morning. I am the Lord.

They must not leave any of it until morning, nor break any of its bones; they must observe it in accordance with every statute of the Passover.

Moses ¹  said, “Do not leave us, ²  because you know places for us to camp in the wilderness, and you could be our guide. ³

If grape pickers came to pick your grapes, would they not leave a few grapes behind? ¹  If robbers came at night, would they not pillage only what they needed? ² 

leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother and then come and present your gift.

Leave your towns, you inhabitants of Moab. Go and live in the cliffs. Be like a dove that makes its nest high on the sides of a ravine. ¹ 

I will leave in your midst a humble and meek group of people, ¹  and they will find safety in the Lord’s presence. ² 

who leave ¹  the upright ²  paths to walk on the dark ³  ways,

Abandon your foolish ways ¹  so that you may live, ²  and proceed ³  in the way of understanding.”

Whatever ¹  house you enter, stay there ²  until you leave the area. ³ 

Ephraim has attached himself to idols; Do not go near him!
