For nothing ¹  will be impossible with God.”

He replied, “What is impossible ¹  for mere humans ²  is possible for God.”

Jesus ¹  looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, ²  but for God all things are possible.”

Jesus looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, ¹  but not for God; all things are possible for God.”

For it is impossible in the case of those who have once been enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift, become partakers of the Holy Spirit,

For the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins. ¹ 

Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

so that we who have found refuge in him ¹  may find strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us through two unchangeable things, since it is impossible for God to lie.

and then have committed apostasy, ¹  to renew them again to repentance, since ²  they are crucifying the Son of God for themselves all over again ³  and holding him up to contempt.

So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: ¹  “God forbid, ²  Lord! This must not happen to you!”

Nevertheless I must ¹  go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, because it is impossible ²  that a prophet should be killed ³  outside Jerusalem.’ ⁴ 

Jesus ¹  said to his disciples, “Stumbling blocks are sure to come, but woe ²  to the one through whom they come!

Indeed, in truth, God does not act wickedly, and the Almighty does not pervert justice.

They ¹  said to him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”

for it is impossible ¹  for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard.”
