rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth, ¹  and delighting ²  in its people. ³ 

The clouds ¹  go round in circles, wheeling about according to his plans, to carry out ²  all that he commands them over the face of the whole inhabited world.

Now the Israelites ate manna forty years, until they came to a land that was inhabited; they ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan.

Then ¹  the devil ²  led him up ³  to a high place ⁴  and showed him in a flash all the kingdoms of the world.

But when he again brings ¹  his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him!” ² 

For he did not put the world to come, ¹  about which we are speaking, ²  under the control of angels.
