Wherever he enters, tell the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

and tell the owner of the house, ¹  ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

And when the people ¹  saw it, they all complained, ²  “He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.” ³ 

At the same time also, prepare a place for me to stay, for I hope that through your prayers I will be given back to you.

The man who owned the house went outside and said to them, “No, my brothers! Don’t do this wicked thing! After all, this man is a guest in my house. Don’t do such a disgraceful thing!

“‘No lay person ¹  may eat anything holy. Neither a priest’s lodger ²  nor a hired laborer may eat anything holy,

Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cry for help! Do not ignore my sobbing! ¹  For I am dependent on you, like one residing outside his native land; I am at your mercy, just as all my ancestors were. ² 

A psalm of David. Lord, who may be a guest in your home? ²  Who may live on your holy hill? ³

Therefore send to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter. This man is staying as a guest in the house of Simon the tanner, ¹  by the sea.’

They kill the widow and the one residing outside his native land, and they murder the fatherless. ¹ 

The person ¹  who hears the reproof that leads to life ²  is at home ³  among the wise. ⁴ 

Now while Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper,

Whatever ¹  house you enter, stay there ²  until you leave the area. ³ 

So ¹  Peter ²  stayed many days in Joppa with a man named ³  Simon, a tanner. ⁴ 

They ¹  called out to ask if Simon, known as Peter, ²  was staying there as a guest.

Then Samuel brought ¹  Saul and his servant into the room and gave them a place at the head of those who had been invited. There were about thirty people present.

There were no restrictions on the drinking, ¹  for the king had instructed all of his supervisors ²  that they should do as everyone so desired. ³
