May they be like the grass on the rooftops which withers before one can even pull it up, ¹ 

My eyes ¹  grow dim ²  from suffering; they grow weak ³  because of all my enemies. ⁴ 

when it is sown, it grows up, ¹  becomes the greatest of all garden plants, and grows large branches so that the wild birds ²  can nest in its shade.” ³ 

He produced manuals on botany, describing every kind of plant, ¹  from the cedars of Lebanon to the hyssop that grows on walls. He also produced manuals on biology, describing ²  animals, birds, insects, and fish.

He goes to sleep and gets up, night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.

In him ¹  the whole building, ²  being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,
