I also saw in my dream ¹  seven heads of grain growing on one stalk, full and good.

I constructed pools of water for myself, to irrigate my grove ¹  of flourishing trees.

When he speaks of a new covenant, ¹  he makes the first obsolete. Now what is growing obsolete and aging is about to disappear. ² 

We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, ¹  and rightly so, ²  because your faith flourishes more and more and the love of each one of you all for one another is ever greater.

Now the boy Samuel was growing up and finding favor both with the Lord and with people.

Then he fell asleep again and had a second dream: There were seven heads of grain growing ¹  on one stalk, healthy ²  and good.

But ¹  other seed fell on good soil and produced grain, sprouting and growing; some yielded thirty times as much, some sixty, and some a hundred times.”

Mourn ¹  over the land of my people, which is overgrown with thorns and briers, and over all the once-happy houses ²  in the city filled with revelry. ³ 

Because the storm was growing worse and worse, ¹  they said to him, “What should we do to you to make ²  the sea calm down ³  for us?”

Now when Jesus saw a large crowd ¹  around him, he gave orders to go to the other side of the lake. ² 

that has come to you. Just as in the entire world this gospel ¹  is bearing fruit and growing, so it has also been bearing fruit and growing ²  among you from the first day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth.

so that you may live ¹  worthily of the Lord and please him in all respects ²  – bearing fruit in every good deed, growing in the knowledge of God,

The whole land will be covered with brimstone, salt, and burning debris; it will not be planted nor will it sprout or produce grass. It will resemble the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the Lord destroyed in his intense anger. ¹ 

He is a well-watered plant ¹  in ²  the sun, its shoots spread ³  over its garden. ⁴ 

“Why do the wicked go on living, ¹  grow old, ²  even increase in power?

They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves. ¹ 

Now it is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty land. ¹ 

So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. ¹ 

And Jesus increased ¹  in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and with people.

In this way the word of the Lord ¹  continued to grow in power ²  and to prevail. ³
