Joseph is a fruitful bough, ¹  a fruitful bough near a spring whose branches ²  climb over the wall.

and a fruitful land into a barren place, ¹  because of the sin of its inhabitants.

Mourn over the field, ¹  over the delightful fields and the fruitful vine!

He named the second child Ephraim, ¹  saying, ²  “Certainly ³  God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”

But as for you, ¹  be fruitful and multiply; increase abundantly on the earth and multiply on it.”

I will make you ¹  extremely ²  fruitful. I will make nations of you, and kings will descend from you. ³ 

In just a very short time ¹  Lebanon will turn into an orchard, and the orchard will be considered a forest. ²

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine ¹  in the inner rooms of your house; your children ²  will be like olive branches, as they sit all around your table.
