So Solomon finished building the temple. ¹ 

Now when ¹  Jesus finished these parables, he moved on from there.

When Moses finished ¹  speaking ²  with them, he would ³  put a veil on his face.

When Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel

When ¹  Jesus had finished saying all these things, he told his disciples,

The tops of the pillars were shaped like lilies. So the construction of the pillars was completed.

When Moses finished writing on a scroll the words of this law in their entirety,

When he finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him. ¹ 

The Lord went on his way ¹  when he had finished speaking ²  to Abraham. Then Abraham returned home. ³ 

I have competed well; ¹  I have finished the race; I have kept the faith!

In the third month they began piling their contributions in heaps ¹  and finished in the seventh month.

The heavens and the earth ¹  were completed with everything that was in them. ² 

Solomon took thirteen years to build his palace. ¹ 

When she had done so, ¹  she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels too, until they have drunk as much as they want.”

And he set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar, and put the curtain at the gate of the courtyard. So Moses finished the work.

When he had finished ¹  speaking ²  all these words, the ground that was under them split open,

He finished building the temple ¹  and covered it ²  with rafters ³  and boards made of cedar. ⁴ 

So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in just fifty-two days.

When ¹  Jesus finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed by his teaching,

After Jesus ¹  had finished teaching all this to the people, ²  he entered Capernaum. ³
