The ¹  angel ²  came ³  to her and said, “Greetings, favored one, ⁴  the Lord is with you!” ⁵ 

Although you were a powerful man, ¹  owning land, ²  an honored man ³  living on it, ⁴ 

Of Asher he said: Asher is blessed with children, may he be favored by his brothers and may he dip his foot in olive oil. ¹ 

Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your trade partners; for lambs, rams, and goats they traded with you.

For they did not conquer ¹  the land by their swords, and they did not prevail by their strength, ²  but rather by your power, ³  strength ⁴  and good favor, ⁵  for you were partial to ⁶  them.

The bad-looking, thin cows ate the seven fine-looking, fat cows. Then Pharaoh woke up.

She ¹  exclaimed with a loud voice, ²  “Blessed are you among women, ³  and blessed is the child ⁴  in your womb!

Fools mock ¹  at reparation, ²  but among the upright there is favor. ³ 

Therefore what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the value of circumcision?

So then those who believe ¹  are blessed along with Abraham the believer.

He blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by ¹  the Most High God, Creator ²  of heaven and earth. ³ 

Isaac loved Esau because he had a taste for fresh game, ¹  but Rebekah loved ²  Jacob.

The lean, bad-looking cows ate up the seven ¹  fat cows.

Surely ¹  those favored by the Lord ²  will possess the land, but those rejected ³  by him will be wiped out. ⁴ 

The Lord’s curse ¹  is on the household ²  of the wicked, ³  but he blesses ⁴  the home ⁵  of the righteous. ⁶ 

“Very well,” he replied, ¹  “I will grant this request too ²  and will not overthrow ³  the town you mentioned.

When Isaac planted in that land, he reaped in the same year a hundred times what he had sown, ¹  because the Lord blessed him. ² 

seven fine-looking, fat cows were coming up out of the Nile, ¹  and they grazed in the reeds.

“Because ¹  you have acted like a wanton prostitute ²  – a seductive mistress who practices sorcery, ³  who ⁴  enslaves ⁵  nations by her harlotry, ⁶  and entices peoples by her sorcery ⁷  –

So now we consider the arrogant to be happy; indeed, those who practice evil are successful. ¹  In fact, those who challenge ²  God escape!’”
