You killed ¹  the Originator ²  of life, whom God raised ³  from the dead. To this fact we are witnesses! ⁴ 

But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

So for me, it is a minor matter that I am judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.

For in fact when we were with you, we were telling you in advance that we would suffer affliction, and so it has happened, as you well know. ¹ 

Now, dear friends, do not let this one thing escape your notice, ¹  that a single day is like a thousand years with the Lord and a thousand years are like a single day.

So they began to discuss with one another about having no bread. ¹ 

(although Jesus himself was not baptizing, but his disciples were), ¹ 

For in fact the body is not a single member, but many.

In fact, the scene ¹  was so terrifying that Moses said, “I shudder with fear.” ² 

All the people noticed this and it pleased them. ¹  In fact, everything the king did pleased all the people.

Indeed according to the law almost everything was purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

But regarding the fact that he has raised Jesus ¹  from the dead, never ²  again to be ³  in a state of decay, God ⁴  has spoken in this way: ‘I will give you ⁵  the holy and trustworthy promises ⁶  made to David.’ ⁷ 

Although they claimed ¹  to be wise, they became fools

The fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves demonstrates that you have already been defeated. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

Finally then, brothers and sisters, ¹  we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received instruction from us about how ²  you must live and please God (as you are in fact living) ³  that you do so more and more.

For some have already wandered away to follow Satan. ¹ 

For they deliberately suppress this fact, ¹  that by the word of God ²  heavens existed long ago and an earth ³  was formed out of water and by means of water.

Jesus told him, “You have seen him; he ¹  is the one speaking with you.” ² 

But as a matter of fact, God has placed each of the members in the body just as he decided.

On the contrary, those members that seem to be weaker are essential,
