For those who sleep, sleep at night and those who get drunk are drunk at night.

So listen to this, oppressed one, who is drunk, but not from wine!

When he drank some of the wine, he got drunk and uncovered himself ¹  inside his tent.

And do not get drunk with wine, which ¹  is debauchery, ²  but be filled by the Spirit, ³ 

In spite of what you think, these men are not drunk, ¹  for it is only nine o’clock in the morning. ² 

Wake up! Wake up! Get up, O Jerusalem! You drank from the cup the Lord passed to you, which was full of his anger! ¹  You drained dry the goblet full of intoxicating wine. ²

For when it is time to eat, everyone proceeds with his own supper. One is hungry and another becomes drunk.
